My Z-Scores
▸My Goal
- What is your GTIA goal right now? (E.g. What skill or mindset do you want to build? How do you envision yourself in 6-12 months?)
- Why is that goal important to you?
- How will you practice your new skill/mindset each day?
Save a new dated statement any time — your past goals stay saved so you can look back on how they've evolved. Use the arrows or dropdown to look at an earlier one.
▸Reflections on the Negotiations
Notes save automatically a moment after you stop typing. Use the arrows to view past reflections.
Every quotation attributed to you this semester.

Simulations & Competitions
Graded simulations count toward the weighted average Z-score. Ungraded competitions are averaged separately and don't affect the graded average.
Number (e.g. 0, -1.2) | Numeric Z-score — included in averages. 0 is a real score, not blank. |
| X | Did not participate — excluded from averages, never treated as 0. |
| ? | Participated, but the Z-score isn't known/entered yet — excluded from averages, same as blank. |
| — | Nothing entered — unknown whether the student even participated yet. Excluded from averages. |
| Order | Name | Graded? | Weight | Delete |

Import Z-Scores
Most simulations have their own GTIA app that already computes each student's Z-score — import it directly rather than retyping it. Simulations with no GTIA app of their own (e.g. an in-class exercise scored some other way) use manual entry from a spreadsheet instead.
Upload an Excel or CSV file with two columns: Student Email, Z-Score.
Imported Z-Scores —
Student Fonts
Each student is assigned a unique font, used to render their quotations in Class Display. Fonts auto-assign alphabetically the first time this tab loads; override any student below.
| Student | Font |
|---|
Scores are read-only until you press Edit Z-scores. While editing, enter a number for a numeric Z-score, X for non-participation, ? if a student participated but the score isn't known yet, or leave blank if not yet available (see the symbol legend on the Setup tab). Nothing is saved until you press Save.
Student Reflections
View-only. Students edit their own reflections from their Z-Scores tab.
View-only. Students save their own goal statements from their Z-Scores tab.

▸Meta Tags
Deleting a tag removes it from every quotation that uses it, but never deletes the quotations themselves. Renaming updates it everywhere it's used. Use "+ Add tags" to bring a tag here to rename or delete it.
▸Per-Student Quotation Totals
Instructor-only. Updates automatically as quotations are added or deleted.
| Student | Total Quotations |

▸Add / Edit Quotation
▸Bulk Import from Excel
Columns: Class Number, Quotation, Student Email, and any number of Meta Tag 1…Meta Tag 100 columns (blank meta-tag cells are ignored).
▸Quotation Library
| Student | Class | Quotation | Tags | Actions |
|---|
Quotations from prior years, kept for reference and for building run sheets. Students never see this tab or its data — only the instructor can search and browse it.
▸Student Names
Names here are free text and can drift across years or imports (e.g. "Maya Chen" vs "maya chen"). Bring a name into view to rename it — this updates every archived quotation that used the old name, merging it with any other name it now matches.
▸Add / Edit Archived Quotation
▸Bulk Import from Excel
Columns: Student Name, Class Year, Class, Quotation, and any number of Meta Tag 1…Meta Tag 100 columns (blank meta-tag cells are ignored).
▸Archive Library
| Student | Class Year | Class | Quotation | Tags | Actions |
|---|
Prepare presentation run sheets in advance. Each run sheet has an ordered list of phases; a phase can pull quotations by filter (Class # / Meta Tags, drawing from both the current library and the archives) and/or by manually adding specific quotations. Applying a filter only adds newly-matching quotations — it never removes or reorders what's already in the phase.

Illustration files live as plain image files alongside this app in its GitHub repo — push them there yourself, then type the exact filename below. A live thumbnail confirms it resolved; "not found" means the filename or the pushed file doesn't match yet.

Present a prepared run sheet's quotations one at a time. Once presenting, use ← / → to navigate and click the hidden panel (or press space) to reveal the author.
